Drink This Every Morning to Look 10 Years Younger—Dermatologists Are Speechless!

Posted on November 27, 2025

Collagen is the key structural protein that keeps our skin firm, smooth, and youthful—but unfortunately, it begins to decline naturally after our mid-20s. That’s where powerful kitchen botanicals come in. Cloves are rich in eugenol, a potent antioxidant that supports collagen regeneration. Lemon juice delivers a burst of vitamin C, an essential nutrient your body needs to build new collagen fibers.

Add ginger to reduce inflammation, turmeric for its collagen-stimulating curcuminoids, raw honey for hydration and skin-brightening antioxidants, and mint leaves to boost digestion—helping your body better absorb all these skin-loving nutrients. A tiny pinch of black pepper improves absorption of curcumin and trace minerals, thanks to piperine. And if you include aloe-vera juice, you’ll get an extra boost in skin elasticity and wrinkle reduction.

Ingredients (for 300 ml serving)

  • 5–6 cloves (lightly crushed)
  • ½ fresh lemon, juiced (about 1 tbsp)
  • 1 cm ginger (sliced or grated)
  • ¼ tsp ground turmeric (or ½-inch fresh root)
  • 1 tsp raw honey
  • 6–8 fresh mint leaves
  • A pinch of freshly cracked black pepper
  • 30 ml aloe-vera juice (optional)

How to Make It

  1. Infuse the spices
Bring 250 ml water to a gentle boil. Add cloves, ginger, and turmeric. Simmer for 5 minutes to release their nutrients.
  2. Cool briefly
Turn off the heat and let it rest for 2 minutes—this helps protect vitamin C.
  3. Strain & enrich
Strain into a cup. Add honey, lemon juice, black pepper, mint leaves, and aloe-vera juice.
  4. Balance the temperature
Add 50 ml room-temperature water to make it comfortably warm.
    Total time: about 10 minutes.

When & How to Drink

  • Morning glow: Sip slowly on an empty stomach for best absorption.
  • Hydrate afterward: Drink a glass of plain water right after it to help skin stay plump.
  • Frequency: 4–5 days a week, then take a 2-day break.
  • Storage: Can be refrigerated for 24 hours; reheat gently—do not boil.

Custom Add-ons

  • Add 1 tsp chia seeds for omega-3 and fiber.
  • Swap mint for basil (tulsi) in rainy season for antimicrobial benefits.
