A multiple-vehicle collision occurred on the Mexico–Querétaro Highway near kilometer 059+000 in Huehuetoca, State of Mexico. A trailer traveling toward Mexico City reportedly failed to stop near the Jorobas intersection, crashing into a roadside barrier before striking five cars and a pickup truck. The trailer came to rest across all three lanes, causing a partial highway closure and significant traffic disruption. Wet road conditions following rainfall may have contributed to the crash, although authorities are investigating the exact cause. Paramedics treated several people at the scene. Fortunately, injuries were reportedly minor, though some victims were advised to seek further medical evaluation.
