Honey will never forget her special friend.
The love of a good dog knows no bounds — just ask this sweet pup named Honey. Despite being separated by a fence from her 94-year-old neighbor, Honey’s big heart still shone through.
According to Honey’s mom, Abigail Morrow, she and her neighbor, Edna, had struck up the sweetest routine. Each morning, they would meet at the fence line, where Edna would dote on her with treats and a warm embrace, with Honey’s eagerly wagging tail being her payment in return.
But, sadly, these daily moments of joy couldn’t go on forever.
One day, much to Honey’s dismay, Edna failed to appear at the fence for their morning meeting. She’d fallen ill and was in her final days. But the dear dog never left her heart.
“[Edna’s] family texted us when she had gotten pretty sick,” Morrow said in a post on TikTok. “They texted us and asked if we could bring Honey, and if she could say goodbye. So, we did.”
Honey and Edna’s two souls had intermingled for just a short time, but they were bound by their mutual love nonetheless.

On a recent evening, a man was out walking his dog when he spotted someone huddled on his neighbor’s stoop. Upon closer inspection, he realized the animal was a red-tailed hawk — and he needed help.
