At school, a classmate told Little Johnny that most adults have at least one dark secret and that you can easily make money by saying, “I know the whole truth.”
Excited to try it, Johnny goes home. When his mom greets him, he says, “I know the whole truth.” She quickly hands him $20 and warns, “Don’t tell your dad.”
Later, Johnny greets his dad the same way: “I know the whole truth.” His dad immediately gives him $40, saying, “Just don’t tell your mother.”
Thrilled, Johnny runs outside the next day and says it to the mailman. The man drops the mail, opens his arms, and says, “Then come give your real dad a big hug!”
