An elderly woman identified as Doreen Broadbelt died after being attacked by a pack of dogs on the streets of Miami. She was trying to get to work when the pack cautiously approached and injured her.
Authorities arrived at the scene to begin the investigation at 196th Street Northwest and 14th Court , where she was with multiple bites on her body, allegedly she heard strange noises nearby as if it were a person, however the dogs attacked her.
Upon arrival, emergency teams examined the woman and determined that she no longer had vital signs due to the attack.
Daughters of woman killed by dogs break silence

Her daughters spoke out after the attack, revealing that she worked at a supermarket and routinely walked the streets to get to work around 7:00 a.m., the time the attack occurred.
“I think about how no one saw anything. She was lying there for three hours, and no one saw her?” said Shelley Ann Williams, one of her daughters, in an interview with local media outlets covering the scene.
They also questioned the attack, as she was a strong woman, describing it as impressive how many dogs prevented her from defending herself. “If there had been two of them, this wouldn’t have happened.”
For his part, her husband said goodbye to her, remembering her as a beloved woman: “She loved helping people. She was a sociable person.”

They’re looking for the owner of a pack that attacked an employee in Miami.
Miami Gardens police and the animal control association searched for the alleged perpetrators of this attack, which left one person dead. Previous reports had been made about the danger of the animals, as it is unknown whether they were feral or had an owner who took them outside without a leash.
“I’m waiting for the police. I don’t know where to start. I don’t know what to say. I don’t know what to do right now. I’m lost,” her other daughter revealed as she waited for the police.
