(Atif) Larry Plans to Gift Sharra a New House Read More

Posted on January 10, 2026

Larry hadn’t been the same ever since he found out Sharra had a new man. He kept telling himself it didn’t bother him, but deep down, it did. Seeing her with Joel—her new boyfriend—was like a dagger to his chest. It wasn’t just the jealousy that made him uneasy; it was the fear that he had lost her for good. The truth was hard to swallow: Sharra had moved on. But what stung the most was that Larry felt like maybe, just maybe, she had only been with him out of necessity, not love.

He paced around his living room, the quiet hum of the air conditioner the only sound that filled the space. He stared at his phone, still unsure whether to call her. But this time, things were different. The stakes were higher. He wasn’t just playing the role of the concerned ex anymore. This was a game, a final attempt to win Sharra back, and he knew it had to be a big move.

“I’m not sure if this is a good idea,” Larry muttered to himself, running his hand through his hair. He couldn’t believe what he was about to do.

Picking up the phone, he dialed Sharra’s number. The phone rang twice before she picked up.

“Hello?” Sharra’s voice was calm, but Larry could hear the subtle coolness in her tone. She was distant, almost like she didn’t want to hear from him.

“Sharra, I’ve been thinking…” Larry started, trying to sound casual, but the anxiety in his voice was hard to hide. “You know, if you need anything—anything at all—I’m here. I’m offering you $10,000. Take it. It’s yours, to do whatever you need with it.”

Sharra was silent for a moment, and Larry could feel his heart pounding in his chest.

“I don’t need your money, Larry,” she finally replied, her voice firm. “I’ve got Joel now. He’s helping me, in ways you can’t even imagine.”

Larry winced at her words. Joel. The new boyfriend. The man who had taken his place. A sharp, bitter taste filled his mouth. But he wasn’t going to give up that easily. He had to try again.

“Alright, alright. But what about a house, Sharra?” Larry said, trying to mask the desperation in his voice. “I can give you a house. A new one. Bigger, better than anything Bethany could give you. Just think about it.”

Sharra paused. She could feel the weight of the offer in the air. A house. A gift, like a final bargaining chip. But something about it felt off. Was Larry trying to make up for something, or was he truly offering her peace? Her mind raced, thinking of the possible consequences if she accepted the offer.

“No, Larry,” she replied, her voice steady but firm. “I don’t need anything from you. I’ve got Joel, and I’ve already got my own plans.”

Larry was caught off guard. For a moment, he didn’t know how to respond. He wanted to push her, to make her realize how much he was willing to do for her, but he didn’t want to seem too desperate. Then it hit him—he had to remind her that Joel hadn’t bought her a house, it was just a temporary gesture. Larry knew this. He had heard it from someone close to Sharra.

“You know, Sharra,” Larry said slowly, trying to sound nonchalant, “Joel didn’t buy you that house, did he? I know the truth. I can give you something far better. And I’m offering it now, before anyone else can step in.”

A Dangerous Game

Sharra could hear the undercurrent of desperation in his voice. He was trying to play the hero, offering her things he thought she needed. But she wasn’t some prize to be won. She wasn’t going to fall for it again. Not this time.

“You don’t get it, Larry,” Sharra said, her voice tinged with frustration. “I’m not doing this for money or gifts. I’m doing this for me. Joel is not your competition. He’s someone who actually respects me, unlike you.”

Larry’s throat tightened. He wasn’t sure how to respond. This wasn’t the Sharra he had known—this was someone who had changed, someone who had moved on. He had been too slow, too caught up in his own world, to realize it.

But the threat of Bethany finding out about the house offer lingered in his mind. He knew he had to keep it from her, or everything would explode. Bethany would never let him live it down. If she found out he was still trying to win Sharra back, it would be the end of everything.

The Moment of Truth

Sharra wasn’t convinced. Despite Larry’s offers, despite his desperation, she couldn’t bring herself to trust him anymore. She had been through too much with him. And now, with Joel, things were different. She didn’t need Larry’s money or his gifts. She had learned to stand on her own.

“I’m not interested in your house, Larry,” Sharra said one final time. “I’m doing just fine without you.”

Larry’s heart sank. He knew that no matter what he did, it was too late. Sharra had made up her mind. She was moving on, with or without him. The hope he had clung to for so long slowly faded away.

The Unseen Consequences

What Larry didn’t realize was that his actions had already set off a chain of events. If Bethany ever found out about the house offer—or the fact that Larry was still hung up on Sharra—it would be the final straw. But in the end, it wasn’t just about the house. It was about control, desperation, and the things left unsaid.

Would Larry continue to chase after Sharra, or would he finally confront the reality of his marriage to Bethany? Would Bethany find out, and how would she react to Larry’s secretive dealings?

Only time would tell, but one thing was certain: the game was far from over.

This story is filled with suspense, offering twists and turns as Larry desperately tries to win back Sharra, all while trying to hide his actions from Bethany. The tension between past relationships and new ones adds a layer of complexity, making the outcome uncertain. Will Larry’s past mistakes cost him everything, or will he manage to keep the truth hidden long enough to change the course of his future?
