My husband and I went away on vacation for 10 days, leaving the house empty. When we finally came back, I started unpacking our things and went into the bathroom to clean up.
As soon as I opened the door, I noticed something strange on the floor near the wall. At first, I honestly thought someone had left some kind of weird decoration there. But the closer I looked, the stranger it became. It had grown into a huge, pale structure with dozens of little branches, almost like a tiny underwater coral reef.
I called my husband over, and neither of us had any idea what we were looking at. We kept wondering how something so unusual could have appeared while we were away. I even started thinking that it might be some kind of mold or fungus that had somehow grown because the bathroom had been closed for so long.
We spent quite a while examining it from a distance, trying to figure out where it came from and how it had grown so quickly. It was definitely one of the strangest things we had ever found inside our house.
