Anne stood surrounded by vibrant decorations, heart racing as friends and family gathered for her and John’s gender reveal party. As they held the oversized black balloon, excitement filled the air. But when Anne popped it, among the confetti was a slip of paper in John’s handwriting: “I am infertile.”
Stunned, Anne looked to John for answers. He coldly presented a fertility test and accused her of cheating. Shocked and humiliated, Anne watched the celebration fall apart.
Later, her friend Julie confronted John and exposed his true motive—protecting his money. But the truth unraveled further: Julie was pregnant, and John was the father.
Julie revealed everything in front of the Campbells. Enraged and ashamed, they disowned John. As he stormed out, defeated, Anne forgave his parents, who promised to support her and the baby.
