She was just an infant puppy when she was found abandoned in a vacant lot along a dusty road. At first, it appeared as though she was too weak to even open her jaw, leaving her unable to eat.
Currently, she is receiving care at the veterinary clinic, but her condition is critical. This little puppy, who has been given the name Lalita, weighs only 7 kg and is unable to open her mouth.
Her malnutrition is severe, and her body temperature is dangerously low. The vet discovered she was also battling a significant infestation of parasites, including hookworms.

After some time and much-needed care, Lalita managed to finish her food, albeit with a bit of fussiness. Despite her initial challenges, there’s a deep sense of affection for her—she captures hearts wherever she goes!
Day by day, Lalita’s health is improving. She’s gaining weight and has become sociable with other dogs. With her recovery progressing well, Lalita is now ready to be welcomed into a new forever family.
Her joy at being loved and cared for in a home environment is evident.

Observing her and her new household’s joy is a heartwarming sight—this is the outcome that makes rescue efforts worthwhile.
